Great hotel with free Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, and a helpful 24-hour reception. I remember how the staff assisted my elderly parents during our first stay. I recommend it for a comfortable stay. I'm coming back for Christmas!

Proprietors/mangers were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast service was acceptable.

Rooms on the north side of the building over look a kennel, so noise began early. Would have helped to know in advance. Facility needs to be renovated/upgraded. Has clearly been a while.

Daughters bedding was gross and her bathroom light was not working. Flooring and decor didn't go together. Floors were blue and another color and bedding was green floral

The room was clean with a shower, tv, and a microwave. It had free toiletries, a coffee machine, and a refrigerator. The heating worked well, and the bed was comfortable. I enjoyed the hot shower after a long day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

All of the staff was affable and attentive to guests.

Had to switch rooms as the TV would not work but staff was very helpful. Did an excellent job of accommodating us.

The king suite was spacious and perfect for our family celebration, and even though the breakfast was a bit basic, we loved how clean everything was. I'd choose this hotel again for its comfy beds.

The whole experience was very pleasant! The hotel was perfectly clean with peaceful location in the middle of jackson and fine rooms. I booked a room with a comfy bed, central heating and TV. Location: the venue was near to change by the box, another restaurant and Ottumwa.

The cozy decor made our stay pleasant. The room cleaning could be improved.

The room was clean and had a comfy bed. I loved that there was a fridge and microwave for snacks. I enjoyed relaxing by the pool and getting a great hot shower. Just wish they had more towel options, but overall it was a nice stay 😊

The decor had a cozy charm, with warm colors and easy access throughout the hotel, made it cute for seniors like me. The lobby had a lovely fireplace, perfect for gathering with friends.

Improve breakfast variety and quality.

Visited the Water Park and Cedar Creek Golf Course, both super close to where we stayed. The place was clean and the bed was comfy. Would definitely recommend!

Only downside was the check-in process.

The hotel provided a comfortable and clean room with modern furnishings. The staff was very attentive. Amenities such as the refrigerator and microwave were appreciated for convenience during my work trip.

The breakfast options were limited and did not meet expectations.

Room door failed to lock from the outside, made for an uncomfortable night. Skimpy on towels, and one armchair was dirty and worn, needing a cover-up. The noise from the upstairs floor was distracting, especially with cleaning and vacuuming happening before we left. Disturbances may not bother everyone, but for us, it added unnecessary hassle to an already frustrating experience.
